Sunday: Rideau Canal

It was a glorious day so we resurrected our plan to walk down to the Rideau Canal as the ‘Thunder Rally’ had apparently dispersed.  We walked all the way down Sussex Drive, along the canal and back up last Parliament Hill.  By the time we got back home we had walked over 10km and 17,000 steps.

The ‘Thunder Rally’ was mostly gone but there were a few individuals hanging around, wrapped in Canadian flags, and taunting the police.
