A great nature walk
Saturday
Roger joined a work group at church this morning weeding and putting mulch down, while I stayed home and did some jobs. In the afternoon we went walking at Rowe Woods, which turned into a great nature walk. Besides all the wild flowers, and the usual turtles, we also spotted the crimson flower of the Paw paw tree (top right) the tiny red Eastern newt, and a large black and gold flat millipede. The wild flowers in my collage are left to right Dwarf larkspur, Spring blue-eyed Mary, and the May apple.
In the evening we enjoyed dinner out at our favourite fish restaurant, and then we’re pleased to be able to watch a live stream via Facebook of Laura’s choir concert up in Wausau Wisconsin - so thankful for modern technology which allows us to share in events far away!
