Flaming Parrot?

The garden has gone bonkers in the last few days. The buds on this tulip were still hidden in the leaves on Sunday. I think these might be the Flaming Parrot variety, but as I'm hopeless at labelling plants, I can't be sure. At this rate, we'll find out by the weekend.

The houblons in the garden have grown a lot since the weekend as well. They do look a bit like prehistoric plants when they first start growing. I took photos of the, but they didn't make the cut for the blip.
