Carpet of Bluebells

Having been poorly and then wrapped up in my play, I haven’t been out walking for 2 weeks. Today, despite the rain, I had to go and see the Bluebells on St Boniface Down. It was deserted up there (not surprising in the drizzle!) and absolutely stunning. Just swathes if blue carpets as far as the eye could see. Apart from Bluebells there were Violets, Red Campions, Gorse and my absolute favourite, Cowslips. It was heavenly!
