May Day
Today has been a relaxed and chill day, I've been nowhere and done very little other than read, e mails and watch TV football.
I did set up this little May Day display with flowers, candle, crystals and lots of red and green. May Day marks the mid-point of spring when we turn our faces from the shadows of Winter towards the Summer sun - if only the weather had read the memo!
When April steps aside for May,
Like diamonds all the rain-drops glisten;
Fresh violets open every day:
To some new bird each hour we listen. Quote from Lucy Larcom.
