The Rannerdale bluebells!

Rain yesterday evening and overnight…the first rain for weeks on end!

Not so good for the Mountain Marathon campers…

We checked out the Rannerdale bluebells this morning…they were looking good!…and they will still be good for another 2 or 3 weeks if you are up this way.

It was still damp this morning, but bright, warm sunshine again now ( 3.15pm ).
