Points of the Compass
After breakfast I went to Arley Hall gardens and nursery. I bought some perennials, which are now planted and filling gaps.
The swallows and house martins had arrived and were flying around the clock tower and outbuildings. My first sighting of martins this year . Ours have yet to return, hopefully they will. They are always late.
I like this weathervane above the clock. A goldfinch provides a sense of scale.
