It's been three years, due to the pandemic, that Stratford has hosted a classic car gathering, so it was worth a trip into town to take a look. The centre of town had been closed off to 'normal' traffic leaving room for a street market along Bridge Street and cars on Sheep Street, High Street and Wood Street. Certainly not the number of cars that we've seen in previous years, but the weather was good and the people had turned out in hoards. Luckily there was still an outside table left at York's Cafe so we were able to stop and have a coffee.
The star attraction is a Lewis Hamilton racing car simulator, which looked pretty scary from the outside throwing itself about on the back of an enormous lorry, we didn't try it!
As we were leaving the town I spotted this car on its own parked outside of the El Greco restaurant. I'm not sure if it was part of the car show, but it looks pretty classic.
