Rapeseed

After a great night of dancing, I slept rather late this morning, and had a leisurely breakfast reading the Saturday paper.

We were both quite tired, and opted for a wee drive this afternoon, just as well as the rain came on.  But we can't complain as we have had dry weather for a long time now, and the ground really needs some rain.

The rapeseed is in flower just now, upsetting people with allergies, , but we do not mind it at all, and it does look nice.  This is a ribbon field, but there are a lot of very large fields around here.

This is a holiday weekend, but to be honest it makes little difference to us as we are retired.
