317 Of 365: Footpath Ahead Closed

On Thursday a neighbour had a problem with the electricity, repair crew turned up Someone swung one of those gizmos around looking for cables. While all this gizmo swinging went on, the others stood around blethering (and probably smoking - glad it wasn't a gas fault)

Eventually they found something, sprayed paint over the pavement, cut up the tarmac and dug out a trench. Fault repaired and they all cleared off around ten o'clock that night.

How long we're going to have the trench open for is anybody's guess.
