Here we go again

You may recall that we have had problems with Tinks paw since last summer.  Since Christmas it hasn’t been too bad, when it’s really sore and she limping we give her some anti inflammatory medicine for a few days and then she walks ok .  The last few days she’s been limping and holding it up.  We were all watching tv when she got off the sofa and went into the corner.  I thought she was going to go to the loo (unlike her) so picked her up and then moaned that she was wet so chucked her out the front door…only to realise that the wet was not wee but blood and my hands were covered and then also realised that the sofa was, once again, covered in blood too and had flicked up the curtains.

We bandaged her up but it soon became apparent that we would need to take her to an emergency vet as the blood was seeping through.  Lucy and I went off whilst we left Mr C on blood removing duties.  They gave her some pain relief and bandaged her up and told us to take her to our vets tomorrow.  £180 later we were on our way home.
