A catch up

We met up with my daughter and son-in-law for a drink late afternoon today, which turned into two or three, plus some delicious nibbles.  It was great to see them both and we had a most enjoyable time. They’re always extremely busy, so we were rather pleased that they took some time out to spend with us.

As we waited to cross the road to our meeting place, I saw the sun shining on The Chapel Bar and Bistro and took a quick blip.  Then son-in-law had a gin in the most unusual “glass”, so that required a photo too.

There are 7,043 new community cases today, and the seven-day rolling average is 7,415, compared to 8,475 last Saturday. The number of people in hospital is 468, including 15 in ICU. Another 14 deaths have been reported, bringing the total number of deaths to 744 and the seven-day rolling average of reported deaths to 11.
