Now it is getting serious ...

After the successful first firing, this second was a little more serious - better quality clay and stronger sculptural form. As it is only a small kiln, it had to be fired in pieces. It has turned out well.

The next step is glazing - simple white probably. Which will need to be fired. And then deciding on the final arrangements, putting the pieces together and getting it on a base.

Lots of excitement ahead.
