Knightshayes Court

A bit of a detour to find lunch on our way from Gloucester to North Devon. The lunch was disappointing but the potter round the garden of this National Trust garden was lovely.
The other big disappointment is that we haven’t yet been joined in our splendid Landmark Trust property by the Somerset branch. Daughter number 3 was in Harrogate for a conference at the beginning of the week and 3 of her 4 travelling companions have tested positive for Covid. We are keeping our fingers crossed for a negative test in the morning and hopefully they will join us then. I’m so fed up with this. This holiday should have happened at Christmas 2020 and has been cancelled once more since then. We hope it works our tomorrow.
