Flowers on Friday

Did a few chores this morning including a load of washing and then I got the bus to Gateshead,  Chose the wrong bus though as when it got to Lobley Hill it filled up with pupils for Emmanuel College.  Every seat got taken and there were around 10 children standing.  It was like that all the way to Gateshead.

Gateshead was quite busy too - especially Tesco.  It usually is on a Friday as there is a large Jewish population in the area and they tend to do a big shop on Fridays.

The weather today was lovely - warm with lots of sunshine.

I decided to do a collage for Flower Friday. I found the purple Periwinkle, the yellow Welsh poppy and the Dandelion in the back lane.  The plant with little yellow flowers seems to be an oil seed rape. This single stem appeared in my garden out of the blue.  Thanks to BikerBear for hosting.
