Extra Special Blipmeet!

HareBrain and her husband, who have been holidaying with 'Matilda' in the area, were due to call in for a blipmeet coffee this morning, along with Aliscotia, both seen here in the kitchen.  They had just turned into the road to our village when their car made a terrible noise and then decided to go no further.  I drove the mile or so up the road to pick them up and over a much needed cup of coffee they called their breakdown company.  Meanwhile, coffee and much chatter turned into lunch and even more chatter! 

The breakdown chap turned up at about 1:45pm so we drove back up to meet him by their car and, with a little help from MrSk with a hacksaw, the 'rogue' anti rollbar droplink (don't ask!) was removed and the car was once again able to move. 

To round off a wonderful blipmeet, we then repaired to the Black Cat Cafe in Northleach for a cup of tea and slice of cake. Thank goodness their car made it as far as the relatively quiet road into our village and didn't break down on the motorway or somewhere and it was wonderful to catch up with them again - there is always a silver lining somewhere!
