Bugged

I had to be at my mother’s house today, to take a call from her case manager at the care insurance. They check on her (or rather on me) every couple of months, to make sure she has everything she needs.

When I came home, I found our peony overrun with shield bugs. Virtually every bud had at least one bug sitting on it, plus a few ants. I hope they won’t damage the plant.
