Mum

What a day. A good day but a day! 
Over to Sevenoaks again to meet Helen and Andrew this time at Rob's exhibition. Like Monday I stayed in the car with Ruben while he went in to the gallery with them. Unlike Monday they were up there for an hour and a half! Helen does like a chunner. Lovely for Rob though to be able to show off his work for that long. 
From there we went to The Chaser for a late lunch. Not been to a pub for food since BC so it really was a lovely afternoon. Helen gave me the lily of the valley - so thoughtful of her. The first time she gave me some was just after my mum died and I told her that my grandma would give my mum a bunch around her birthday which is mid May. 
Left the pub and drove to Gatwick to pick Jennie up on her return from Barcelona. She had the mother of all hangovers as yesterday there had been free champagne all day which she made use of, obviously! and followed it with several bloody marys, an absinthe and a couple of cocktails. Doesn't bear thinking about if you ask me.
