On the road again

This morning we drove to Orange as I had day surgery booked at the Private Hospital. If you’re privately insured you pick your doctor and book in within weeks. If you’re not you go through the public system and wait for years for an appointment. The down side is the expense. We have kept ours up just in case we need it as we get older.

The care was excellent. I have no complaints and the staff got 11/10. The surgery went well but I didn’t recover from the anaesthetic perfectly. Had the vomits and felt like I left half my brain behind. I have been asleep all afternoon but kept down some dinner. I only had to wait about 10 minutes for my turn after I arrived. Wow. Sometimes you are stuck inside for hours waiting.

My blip is of the scenery on the trip. Orange is 45 minutes drive west +/- road work times. There was low lying fog in the valleys and mist on the mountains. I have little memory of the return trip. Must have been asleep.

Thanks for the nice comments on my abstract blip yesterday. My blips are usually SOOC but I did have fun with this one.
