Common Gum tree shield bug

I woke up with a sore throat. It appears that MrB and I have caught Little Miss' cold. We all tested negative with RATs, so safe to go about our business. 

We got through the day and Little Miss has a 5-hour shift at work after school. She'll be finished around 9 pm. Long day for our sickly girl.

I spotted this bug in a bush in our front garden after work. Outside, it's pouring with rain. It's quite comforting when you're inside in the warm and it's raining outside, I think.
