Chilly night

My sister made a rare visit this morning and she brought mum as well. We had a lovely morning tea. I gave my sister a large pile of baby toys and a quilted floor blanket. Her first grandchild is due in a few months. Very exciting for her as she has been waiting for many years for this to happen.

This afternoon the wind turned cold and by this evening we had to light the gas fire. Winter is coming.
