View from the 11th

Met up with a life-long friend today for lunch, wine, reminiscing about surf trips, travel and planning future adventures. Mick lives on then 11th floor at Mooloolaba Esplanade (shown here), a favourite holiday spot for southern tourists. The Italian restaurant under his building has "survived Covid" and still serves great meals and wine (a little expensive, but well worth it). The car parks on the beach front are going to be replaced with BBQ facilities and open space for locals and tourists to enjoy the location better....
