Anemone Blanda

Although also called Grecian Windflower, these beautiful anemones are native to Turkey, Lebanon, and Syria. They have been flowering in this heap of rough grass in the garden behind the house for the past month and never fail to delight. This blip was taken in a strong wind but much cooler than those throughout the Mediterranean!
