Finished
It was like autumn this morning when I set out for another sewing day. Knowing that the room can be cold, I was dressed in layers and certainly needed them.
I continued to work on the iron carrying bag which I started last Friday. The final hand sewing of the binding was done this evening at home. The bag is lined with heat resistant material and is so tough to get a needle into. I’m pleased to say that it is now finished, but the fingers are sore!!!
It is designed to take a standard size iron, but I’ve found that my little quilting iron fits in without rattling round too much, so I don’t need to make a second smaller one.
