Blackpool

This afternoon, following a spontaneous decision, we set off to Blackpool on the Fylde coast.   For a change we had a walk around the south shore - pretty quiet with few people about - and then onto the south pier where we sat outside The Gin House whilst I enjoyed a French Martini.   We then drove through the town up to Fleetwood where we ate fish and chips by the Knott End Ferry.   A most pleasant outing.
