Tappara became the champion of 2021/2022

Ice hockey team Tappara from Tampere played the fifth game of the final series of the Finnish Hockey Championship in the Nokia Arena against TPS. 

We had evening walk at the Pyynikki esker and we met Topi, one of Peetu's Welshie friends. Boys played awhile. 

Before we left home, Tappara's game ended 1-0 and gold medal celebrations started. I wanted to go and see the action in the Tampere  central square - the tradition is that fans gather there and brave ones swim in the fountain.
