I Can't Believe It's Not Halloween!

Today felt really autumnal for some reason. It was mostly grey with a cold wind and it really did feel like the clock had gone back a few months with the warm Spring sunshine long gone. To represent this I decided to go with a Halloween image  - well that and the fact that this was the only blippable thing I saw all day. The title of today's image is paraphrasing the name of a substitute butter spread!
I'd being feeling a bit rough since yesterday - sore throat, aching limbs, shivery and generally feeling a bit fun down. So as a precaution I thought I'd better stay at home so this image was just taken on a micro stroll (well about five paces actually) in our back garden. Not really sure how this little Halloween bucket, which was originally filled with sweets, has migrated to our garden.
When my brother phoned from work at lunchtime he said he would get some lateral flow tests just in case (he had tested negative yesterday - he tests himself regularly for work). When he got home in the evening I took a test and...well you can guess the rest. I tested positive for coronavirus. Bollocks!
It makes no sense at all as my brother has been travelling up and down to London by train every weekday over the past two years, even through three lockdowns, and not tested positive once. I have not worked since being made redundant and spend most of my time at home. My brother had similar symptoms to me a few days ago but has tested negative twice since then so it's all quite bizarre. I guess that's just the way the dice rolls!
You may have to excuse my blips for next few days as I don't think they'll be up to much considering I can't really go out - so you can look forward to more shots of what I find in the house or on another micro stroll up the garden! :-)
