Focus Stack

When taking macro shots, because of the narrow depth of field you can get some parts in focus but not others. If you take a series of shots and gradually move the focus on each one they can be combined to give a single totally sharp image.
I've tried to do this manually but without much success.
Today I tried again but used a specific stacking facility in Affinity. Watching the process of the images combining on the screen was highly entertaining. I was pleased with the result but need to experiment with more photographs to get the ultra-sharpness I want.
