White Stork, Les Grangettes

I spotted this White Stork perched high up on a tree in the Les Grangettes area today. We don’t see many of them in this area as they are usually further north but this one appeared to have stopped by from a quick preen. See extras, one of which shows the tree in the distance and a white speck on it.

I’d planned to spend some time in this area before picking my son up this evening but I was late leaving and the traffic in the valley was very heavy so I only managed 10 mins. I felt very lucky to have seen this stork during that time.
