Almost forgot!
I was at the hairdressers earlier this morning for a trim ahead of the trip tomorrow to Winchester for the wedding on Saturday.
Really looking forward to it!
The bride is the daughter of a close friend and we’ve watched her grow up from her primary school days, through secondary education and on to Cambridge University, where she was a member of CUMS.

We went, along with her mum, and several others to two of the shows in the years she was there.
She played the lead in “Rent” and a supporting rôle in another.
She has always loved singing and performing.
She met her soon to be husband at the University when they were both in the same musical.
We watched that romance blossom. He is now a fully qualified doctor and she is a Primary School teacher, having done her PGCE year at Cambridge after her degree. (A year’s course to qualify to teach).
At the moment we are waiting for a friend, who is staying here overnight, to arrive. She is at present on her way here from the Wirral.
We are then travelling together tomorrow in our car.
Quite a few of us (guests) are staying in the same hotel.
I hope it warms up a bit! It’s been a very cold raw wind today.
In the photo you can see the back maple tree still has no leaves.
It always amazes me each year as it doesn’t leaf till early May, and each year I wonder if it’s given up the ghost!
