We spoke previously of how Cassata Cluck. quondam Head of the Toytown Protectors of Public Rectitude, had finally been cajoled into setting the dogs on Big Pig. She then took the hump, retiring with the largest nest egg known to chicken.

The Parish Magazine was sceptical, reminding Toytown that the Protectors of Public Rectitude work for Big Pig. And though the Terrier Squad is trained to bite the ankles of the hunted, this depends on them wanting to hunt in the first place. And as we know, these little darlings are happiest having their tummies tickled with their paws in the air.
