Fort Augustus

We didn't really have a plan for the route up, nor down in our wee journey.
So, rather than just go up and down the A9, we dropped off at Dalwhinnie and went west to Spean Bridge, then north to Fort Augustus. 

A wee walk around Fort Augustus and lunch at the Canal Centre where I got this blip. 
Once we were ready, it was an easy last few miles up to Inverness.

Dinner time was a bigger stress than we'd expected. Turns out there had been a cycling event in Inverness that day and with that most restaurants in town were booked up. 

Thankfully, Pizza Express came to the rescue for us.
