Grey Heron
Like yesterday the young one was in the water this morning but flew over as soon as she saw me. She had her fish then flew back to the nest area. I had bought some dog biscuits for the crow (they are supposed to be a favourite food for them) but there was no sign of it. I left the park by the far exit and made my way towards the road home. All of a sudden the crow landed on a fence just ahead of me. I gave it a couple of dog biscuits and carried on. I turned to see if it was still there and saw it flying towards me. I gave it another couple then went home. After lunch the young one was on the dovecot and flew over to the entrance. As I was feeding her the Crow landed so it got a bit of whitebait as well. Once she had finished she took off to the nest area. The crow was still there so I gave it a couple of biscuits. I made to leave by the exit at the top of the hill and was walking towards the road when it occurred to me that the crow might be waiting at the other exit. I doubled back along the road (it wasn't far) and sure enough the crow was waiting. I gave it another biscuit and then finally made my way home.
