I met Mags at the Portrait Gallery today, supposedly to go see the Annie Lennox exhibition but really so that she could regale me with tales of her majestic half-marathon run!

(also so that we could drink coffee and eat scones...)

She did brilliantly and finished in very good time - well I'm told it was a good time, I'll have to take her word for it! Although to be honest she could have come in last and I would still be very proud of her :)

And somewhat bemused as to why anyone would want to run at all, never mind 13 miles. But then my idea of enjoyable exercise is wandering into the kitchen to have a look in the cupboards. Which frankly only pays off if there is something tasty hiding there I'd forgotten about.
