Not in the Woods

Wood hyacinths are spreading widely next to the allotment bramble patch. They must like the company. I don’t mind, they bring a bit of colour now that the daffs are done. I was up planting out the rest of the kohlrabi seedlings which I’d planned to keep back for a while longer but were starting to get a bit leggy. I had enough bottle cloches to protect them from the cold nights that we still have but really hope we don’t get a final, heavy frost or they’ll be toast. Cold toast.
