Lisbon: Day 3, Calçada do Combro

A visit to the Botanical gardens, a wander up to the Miradouro Parque Eduardo V1 viewpoint, a revisit to one of my favourite brutalist buildings and some other general wandering and picture taking during the day.

And then a walk into the centre to visit a favourite eatery in the evening. We feel quite lucky with Lisbon as there is so much to do we can generally avoid the busy areas as we've visited them in previous years so are happy to leave alone. Anyways some nice food, a couple of craft beer bars and then a short cut through the Baixa-Chiado metro station to save walking up the massive and busy hill. I think there are in total about 5 enormous long escalators to pop you out back on top. From there a walk back home enjoying the quieter streets and watching the old trams as they came past
