Very dry!

I had not used this footpath since last year as it is usually extremely muddy due to the small river on the right and trees sheltering it. But the lack of rain during this month has allowed it to dry out completely. You can see the cracks in the path in the foreground. There is a family of foxes living along here but I was not fortunate enough to see them. Local dog walkers have been advised to stay away as there are three young cubs and a protective mum! (I was doing my morning walk so had no dogs with me)
