Burgeoning

The medlar tree in Abergavenny's Linda Vista Gardens is, like lots of trees and other plants, desperate to get on with growing.

The medlar is a great tree for any garden - not too big, lovely spring blossom, autumn colour and plenty of fruit from which you can make jelly and wine. It's also a perfect tree for kittens learning to climb and play!
