Fresh egg for breakfast

Spotted the crow from a distance, enjoying something on the road. A car drove by and it flew off but came back and moved the egg to the side of the road. I took the extra quickly and it saw me and picked up the egg. I was lucky to get the shot of it with the egg in its beak before it flew off.  If only I'd had time to focus better, but I've never had a chance to get a shot of a crow with an egg before, so I'm not complaining about the quality!
It was warmer today and sunny until early afternoon. G did a lot of work in the part of the garden that we're changing a bit, and we replanted the two blueberry bushes in slightly bigger pots. I was going to toss the rosemary that didn't do well over the winter, but there was some new growth on it so I cut off the dead stems and repotted it. A bit of weeding and a few other little tasks, and I really enjoyed being out there getting a start in the garden.
