BROKEN

Had a shopping trip to Newcastle this afternoon.  Had a good mooch around but didn't buy much - mostly food. 

But I did get a blip shot for Wide Wednesday. The theme today is broken/rundown.  My blip shows part of the demolition thats going on in the Pilgrim Street /New Bridge Street area of town.  A large site is being cleared so that an office block can be built to house 9,000 staff from Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs.( Tax Authority ). Most of the buildings have been empty for years but to the right of my shot is The Stack -  a food, drink and shopping hub made up of shipping containers which opened 4 years ago and has been a great success. It is due to close for good on 2nd May.  It was always meant to be temporary but it will be a big miss.  I previously blipped it HERE. Thanks to BobsBlips for hosting the challenge.

The weather today was very dull but not too cold.  And it didn't rain.
