Refurbished

Up in Aberdeen to catch up with some folk and visit the refurbished art gallery. It has been a special place for us and the refurbishment was completed just before lockdown. It is still a special place. The Barbara Hepworth sculpture has been moved from the indoor sculpture court to a terrace on the roof. It used to be the centre piece of an indoor pool dripping with water from some gentle jets. Now it is outside on its own. It is lost. It deserves better.
