Today, Preston, for those who have been following his story) got the green light of freedom from the specialist vet who helped give him his hip replacement 14 weeks ago! Since returning home we have been fitting his collar and a tracking device, we are so nervous something else might happen to him. To get him used to it we kept his lead on and he was tied up in the garden while I nipped out to find a blip. David was reading close to him but when he looked up, no Preston! The lead and collar were on the ground and Preston was gone. Fortunately he hadn’t wandered far and he is now back home looking very proud of himself! Preston “will be the death of me” as my grandma used to say!
