Greenery Galore

This morning we were awoken by a ravenous Hellcat at 5.30 AM. Cat-Feeding time is normally 6 AM which is Brian's regular get-up-for-work time, but he was insistent. He rattled things, walked on us, knocked things off the cupboard, licked the wall (Which normally  gets one of his lazy staff out of bed!) and finally jumped onto my face at 5:50 AM. Well no-one can sleep after that so up I got and his belly was filled. I took my meds and went back to bed.

Next I knew it was gone 7AM and I woke with a migraine, so I got up, took Migraleve tablets and had breakfast with Grace who was getting ready for work. I won't see her now until Friday as she's away to Leeds to see Sophia.

I felt really tired and did not do a lot, but I had to get ready to go to my Dad's. We watched PMQ's of course and it was entertaining and annoying in equal measure.

I also had to call up the podiatrist to arrange his next appointment, and call the Mobility scheme people and arrange for him to be able to extend the lease on his current car.

His birthday is on Friday - he will be 91 - so I may well go over that day instead of Saturday, depending how my work shifts fall. I popped into town and bought a few Gluten free treats from M&S to make up a hamper for him as he says he doesn't need anything else.

Work was so quiet last night. I was glad it was chatty Azimi I was working with or it would have been a long night! I'm not sure when I am next in as I said. If I don't hear anything today I'll give Hekmat a call tomorrow. He is a bit of a last minute Larry!

I took this shot this morning of the florists looking lovely and verdant.
