A grand day out

A plan had been hatched - this has become something of a habit... A day off from the office dedicated to fetching Tom back from his Granny's. Given that this doesn't take all day I was going to take my bike over to Galloway with me and put in another long ride ahead of the looming etape.

Woke to find it pissing down of course and decided that I'd be just as well getting soaked nearer home before driving over.

Not that you'd be any the wiser given the stunning view on offer here.

For the fastidious I am standing part way down the Ruther Law on the Midlothian edge of the Moorfoot Hills.

Not now of course.

Now I'm getting in the bath to soothe my aching coccyx
