Police Scotland Day 17

Another picture of Arran, our police horse, on his last day with Police Scotland.

He retired on Friday 5 April and is looking forward to relaxing at his new home in Aboyne, Aberdeenshire with the World Horse Welfare, an international horse charity that improves the lives of horses in the UK through education, campaigning, and hands-on care.

Arran is pictured with Inspector Jennifer Aird and PC Rosalind Jones, who is half way through her 16 week training programme to become a mounted officer in Police Scotland.
