The Mighty Rakaia

Came home this morning via the Inland scenic route. The country side was looking beautiful. This image is as the river spreads out after coming through the Rakaia Gorge. Always beautiful as it fans out into the braided river system which many NZ rivers are noted for
Felt sad leaving, even though it is equidistant to where they were before it feels like it is much further as I dont know that area well. eventually it will become more familiar. . 
Always when you come back from being away life surrounds you again pretty quickly. This meant spending time with two friends, one who has imminent surgery coming up for cancerous growth on her leg
Will re enter the world of blip tomorrow, meantime a good nights sleep is required if I am lucky enough to have that come my way
