The first cruise ship to visit Halifax in over 2 years. The cruise ship season runs from late April until the end of October, so the last time a cruise ship was in the harbour was October 2019.  How things have changed in that time. There were some photos on TV of the passengers and they were huddled in jackets today. The temperature around noon time was 10 C but the wind was chilly.
I think over 200 cruise ships visited Halifax in 2019. They spend money on souvenirs, restaurants, tours, taxis and so much more. Millions of dollars lost in so many industries as a result of the cruise ships being cancelled for 2 years.
