A deer day
A bit of a fitful night, awake quite early too!
Decided to do my hair before going out for the day.
Overall a lovely day, met sis and Kobi at Dunham Massey National Trust, they hadn’t been and this was my first visit since before hubs diagnosis and passing. It was easier than going it alone.
Kobi was very well behaved, not phased by the deer, nor the ducks, geese and squirrels!
As you can see we got quite close to the deer :-)
After a long walk around the perimeter we headed back to the cafe for a sandwich and a coffee. Again Kobi perfectly well behaved, just lay under the table most of the time, in the shade. Lots of people stopped to admire or stroke him, we were asked if he was a German Pointer, a Ridgeback…… amongst other things, only one chap who knew he was German, so we assumed he knew he was a brown Doberman.
After lunch and another walk, this time around the gardens, lots of lovely tulips on display.
We parted company around 3.30, traffic wasn’t too bad going home. I did stop off for a coffee before heading home. Clocked up almost 15k steps today :-)
Sea bass, jacket potato and salad for my dinner this evening, before getting ready for the pub quiz. Collected D & E…..I am the designated driver mostly. Not bad, third again!
Well its just coming up to midnight so best get to bed, night all!
