A trip to Sydney.

Headed up to Sydney early this morning, on my own, to do some shopping! 

What an amazing day to be outside.....walked between stores and car park etc., no jacket, no boots....woo hoo.....spring!!!   Got most of what was on my 'list', needed to get a couple of folding tables for my booth at the market - starting in June.  Also got a couple of planters for some of the bulbs.....as i was buying them, i thought....'wait a minute, i'm a potter, i should be making these'....so tomorrow i'll make some small and large planters!  I still bought a couple of rather nice ones....so i can get my acidanthera bulbs  planted.....but i'm kinda excited to explore some planter designs tomorrow!

Then home, after a delicious lunch at the local Indian place....to find that a very dear and long standing friend (actually an old boyfriend :P) left a message!   He now lives in the States with his wife and family and we have remained good friends for all this time....i was probably in my late 20's when we were together!  He's a wonderful man, an artist.....and a professor (retired now)....and we always find lots to chat about.  It's been a couple of years since we chatted...so it was wonderful to sit outside, in the warm sunshine, and chat with him!
