Canal walk

My main photo is of a ground beetle that I found this morning. I think it is a Pterostichus cupreus because of it’s shiny green colour.
In extras, see Sid being more brave in the water. B and I took the dogs for their evening walk by the canal at Preston Bagot. We walked a while and then stopped at the little bridge and had a mini snack. We saw a kingfisher fly past while we were there so that was great as we have not seen one for a while now. We also saw a little wren in the nearby leafy bush. Now home, they have had their supper but I have not had mine yet.
